Vong Pak is a Korean native, Brooklyn New York based teaching artist, and Korean drummer. Mr. Pak has solidly trained the traditional Korean performing arts, such as pungmul, samulnori, folk song, and mask dance. Since he migrated to NYC in 1998, he has taught in many public, private schools & colleges in the tri-state area, including MS 890, Cardozo High school, Horace Mann High School, Manhattan School of Music. Also, Mr. Pak has worked with several non-profit organizations and Korean government art ministry, such as Brooklyn Art Councils, New York Folklore Society, City Lore, Korean Cultural Center New York, and among others. Mr. Pak is a Finalist of NYFA Fellowship. He has performed and traveled in 45 countries of the world. Mr. Pak holds an MFA at Theatre Directing from the Univ. of Essex, U.K
