Dominican Faculty

Otoniel Vargas is a drummer, producer and composer born in the city of Santiago, Dominican Republic. At an early age his passion for music was evident and he started to develop great interest for the drums. He first started playing in church and later became part of a great number of bands performing, recording and touring all over the Dominican Republic. He later on moved to the city of New York, USA where he has developed a significant career performing, recording and collaborating with great talents from around the world.He is part of the group “Yasser Tejeda Y Palotré”,  a band that focuses in keeping alive our Afro Dominican Traditions through the art of music and audio visuals. He is currently Recording and touring with the Latin pop star Prince Royce.
