Danilo Henriquez is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and educator originally from Brentwood, NY. He received his B.M. in Trumpet Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music. As a performer, Danilo has toured internationally and across the United States as a member of David Wax Museum, Rubblebucket, The Superpowers and critically acclaimed Ethiopian-pop group Debo Band. His performances include many of the premier festivals and venues including New Orleans Jazz Festival, Lincoln Center Out of Doors, Roskilde, Montreal Jazz Festival, SESC Jazz São Paulo and an appearance on CBS This Morning.
Danilo maintains a very active private teaching studio. Additionally, he has developed outreach programs used by Boston Public Schools and has delivered masterclasses at colleges and universities throughout the United States. In 2013, he was invited as a guest artist and instructor at the Afghanistan National Institute of Music in Kabul. Danilo's good nature, creative spirit, and versatility make him one of the most sought after Teach To Learn Studios teachers.
